I've got more than 10 tickets from the police during my 22 years as a street vendor. Most of them are issued because of the police not being able to see my license and permit immediately. The highest ticket cost me $800.

The police took away my cart and merchant once due to my lack of permit. With the help of the Street Vendor Project, I was able to get my belongings back. I appreciate their help greatly.
